Thread: All Things: TELEVISON

Although I am looking forward to a few shows, Person of Interest, Prime Suspect (both on the DVR) and Terra Nova, I won't get excited until Southland, Justified, The Walking Dead and The Killing come back on.

Ya, Kat's easy on the eyes, but holy hell is that show bad. Get that girl some good material and I'll give her another shot (hehe)

Person of Interest seemed...flimsy. It has a decent premise, promising actors and potential, but something about that pilot left a lot to be desired. I'm sure I'll give it a few more weeks to see if it can grow into its own.

Oh, and if you didn't see the first part of the Archer 3-part miniseries that started last week and continued this (finishes next, obviously...3 parts, y'know?) it's Archer at the top of its game. You must go watch it, now!

I think thats pretty much the ones I'm interested in. I usually tivo the pilots and go from there.

I thought Revenge was pretty good. I'm watching it to see the Hamptons (even though its not taped in the Hamptons......) I just love Long Island.
Two Broke Girls - haven't watched yet.
Up All Night - won't be watching that again......
New Girl - loved it

There might be one or 2 more but I give everything one chance. By the end of the season its the usual few shows for me. I rarely watch tv unless its hockey.

I actually liked Person of Interest. Did anyone watch Whitney? This looked promising to me but I just didn't have time to watch.

Whitney is for chicks...laff track lowest common denominator stuff. The Heart of Archness arc of Archaer has once and for all proven that network comedy cannot compete. Death to the old flesh!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong.... it wasn't good. But it has potential.

Network shows have no 'potential'. They either score massive ratings immediately or they get cancelled. CHASE had potential. The Event...had potential(fleetingly). How are they doing in their sophomore seasons?
