Review: NBC airs The Munsters reboot Mockingbird Lane

Yeah, that show is hilarious and the name is so awful I just call it the Courtney Cox show. I remember watching the very first episode and it was so awful (because it was living up to its title) I did not give it my customary new-show second viewing. After hearing about how it had changed styles and was incredibly funny, I tried it again around turkey time and was glad I did. If ABC had not cancelled it, it would be the funniest show on ABC. Same guy who made Scrubs, people.
Thursday TV Ratings: LAST RESORT Earns a Series Low, GREY’S ANATOMY Scores a New Season Low | Collider
Well, that pretty much sinks Last Resort.
Yes, people are paid a lot more than you to select Animal Practice, Made In Jersey, Mob Doctor, and Last Resort to be on television. If they were really smart, they would make an hour long drama set at a sperm donation clinic.
Yes, that happened.
G4 Marks the End of AOTS and X-Play with Two-Month Farewells - G4tv.com
Can't say I am surprised. :rip: G4Quote:
G4's two longest-running and defining series, Attack of the Show! and X-Play, will be ending their run at the end of 2012. Both shows will include original episodes through the end of the year, and will look back at theirmost memorable moments as we lead up to their final episodes. A rotating lineup of guest co-hosts including John Barrowman, Michael Ian Black, Josh Myers, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel and Horatio Sanz will join AOTS hosts Candace Bailey and Sara Underwood, and X-Play hosts Morgan Webb and Blair Herter as part of the farewell shows.
was just about to post this. They are teaming up with Esquire...wait???? ESQUIRE???? That mag was out of date when I was young. How is that even alive still when Newsweek is ending print copies???? Great idea. A bunch of shows about high end sophisticated stuff in this economy. Do they want lower ratings? Jayzus. Hey SpikeTV...you want to appeal to guys in dorms and mancaves, the opportunity to pick up a brandname show is sitting right there for the taking. Could finally make your little network semi relevant. It couldn't hurt. And...it's an hour of new programming 4 days a week. Once again...couldn't hurt.
TV Ratings: NBC wins Friday, thanks in part to decent Mockingbird Lane numbers
so NBC has a pickle...the ratings were good enough to make it a question mark. Heard an interview with the husky kid from Stand by Me and he said there was a bit of a conflict behind the scenes, Fuller wanted whimsy and Singer wanted dark horror. Haven't watched it but from what I have heard that's the problem with the pilot...muddled direction. Anybody watch it? It's on my dvr and today is catch-up day...if you watched it, what did you think? Would you come back?
