I made it through about 1:48 of the afro circus, then had to be refreshed...

Gotta work the rare Saturday this week...getting paid time and a 1/2...shouldn't complain, still...

anyway here's the song that's been stuck in my head on this friday

It's the summer solstice and it's time to celebrate the Swedish pagan holiday Midsummer. We do that by raising the maypole, a giant penis with testicles penetrating the earth to celebrate a fertile season and good crops. We then sing songs and dance around it. Dinner is based around rotten fish, potatoes, shots of alcohol and more songs. At night the drinking really picks up and the celebration ends once you lose conciousness.

This is literally the biggest holiday in Sweden outside of Christmas. Feel free to visit.
