Time for some viking metal! That song gets me fired up. It tells the story of how Thor and the World Serpent, born from Loki, battle each other at the end of the world (Ragnarök). Ultimately Thor kills the serpent but after walking only nine steps the venom kills him too. I have a soft spot for Norse mythology, it's so cool

You won't hear me complain about the women here, that's for sure.

The instrumental bit in Left Hand Path is so good. It's mesmerizing live.

Have you seen them live? I haven't. I do loves me some Swedish Death Metal.

I've only seen Opeth live, but Entombed is a bit rawer, you know?

We're very fortunate to have such a vibrant metal scene here in Sweden. Not only do we have some pretty good bands, I think most people here live within a few hours by car of at least one annual metal festival and those lucky enough to live in Stockholm or Gothenburgh can probably go watch some live metal on almost any given weekend.

I've probably seen most well known Swedish metal bands live at least once, including Entombed thrice. Not that huge of an Entombed fan personally but they really bring it live and have good energy for being such relatively old geezers

Opeth is one of my favorite bands so good on ya for catching them live. I've seen them once and it was one of my best concert experiences ever, they have a real cool vibe.

I'm not above playing me some cheesy metal too.
