I will watch the original 'Frankenweenie' tonight!!!!
I went to the Austin premiere of Frankenweenie a few nights ago, and it's really, I mean REALLY good! Not quite Nightmare, Ed Wood or Scissorhands (and maybe Beetlejuice), but deeeeeeeeeefinitely better than anything he's done in years. I don't think it would be possible for anyone--of any age, sex, creed, etc--to not enjoy this movie.
UNLESS YOU'RE A MAJOR A$$H0L3!!!!!!!!!11!
;)
Film buffs will go bananas for all the monster movie references that are incorporated into the flick. Go see it; it's truly heart-warming, surprisingly funny, and visually beautiful.
Well, I watched the original Frankenweenie last night, and loved it. Anticipating the new one! :punk:

Too bad, sounds like this was more in line with what folks were expecting. Couldawouldashoulda.
They have a nice exhibit going on over at Disney's Califorina Adventure right now. We also went and watched the 4D sneak preview of Frankenweenie, it was pretty awesome to say the least!
Here are a couple pictures I took of the classroom set.

They had this discussion on a board years ago, so I raise the question here, is The Nightmare Before Christmas a Halloween or a Christmas movie. And don't cope out and say a little of both, that's obvious, but if you had to choose one, which one would it be?
I personally think it's more of a Christmas movie. The emphasis seems to be about trying to appreciate Christmas and well the songs, at least in my opinion, sound more Christmassy, if that's a word, lol! I enjoy watching it on October, but it's a MUST watch on Christmas.
I vote Christmas.
