It's not really that bad of a movie and honestly it is really like the dumbed down cousin of TWE.

I was very surprised when I actually sort of enjoyed the watch.

An Epic Pub Crawl Gone Wrong Culminates In 'World's End' : NPR

Simon and Nick on NPR's Fresh Air program.

Pegg: "We don't want to be trans-Atlantic with our movies, in terms of, we don't assume the American audience have to be talked down to in any way, or soft-soaped or given some kind of chocolate-box version of what they're seeing. I think Shaun of the Dead proved to us that we could be resolutely British and it would still work [in the U.S.]. In fact, it would work because of that. A lot of films [that] want to get an American distribution deal will put stuff in specifically to try and secure that, and [it] ends up just feeling fake."
    Are you listening, Harvey Weinstein??

Finally! Footage of that infamous Star Trek "Neutron Cream" prank | Blastr

Earlier this year, the cast of Star Trek Into Darkness were part of an international press blitz. They were getting the word out about their film and shared some behind-the-scenes dirt. One thing they always mentioned was the infamous "Neutron Cream" prank. It was the brainchild of Simon Pegg, who tricked the entire cast into using a special (fake) emollient.

What started out as a friendly joke quickly snowballed and got out of control. The idea was that everyone had to put dots of cream on their faces to combat ions that could harm their system. Pegg even produced a fake contract for the actors to sign regarding the safety precautions. We would love to have been a fly on the wall for that.

Thankfully, after of months of waiting, fans can see what all the fuss was about. Watch as Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho and poor Benedict Cumberbatch get punk'd in the worst possible way.

Teresa Palmer and Luke Hemsworth Join 'Kill Me Three Times'

We first heard back in May that Simon Pegg was going to be starring in a decidedly non-comedic thriller from Australian director Kriv Stenders (Red Dog) called Kill Me Three Times, which sounded pretty interesting in and of itself, but now Deadline has some casting news regarding the project that’s made it appear even more appealing due to some added fresh faces and some light being shed on the plot.

First off, the faces. According to the report, youthful Aussies Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies) and Luke Hemsworth (that third Hemsworth brother you’ve heard rumors about), have just joined the ensemble, which, in addition to Pegg, has also picked up Alice Braga (City of God), Sullivan Stapleton (Animal Kingdom), and Callan Mulvey (Zero Dark Thirty) along the way. For those keeping score, that’s a whole handful of hot young actors starring in a movie from the guy who made one of the highest grossing Australian films of all time. Seems like Kill Me Three Times has what it takes to be a winner.

But what’s it about? The film was penned by first time feature writer James McFarland, and it’s said to be a crime movie in which a singer in a surf town (Braga) acts as the link between three stories that involve blackmail, revenge, and murder. Mulvey is playing the Braga character’s husband, who seems to want her dead, Stapleton is playing a gambling addict who she’s trying to work a life insurance scam with, Hemsworth is playing a surfer who wants to protect her from the guy being sent to kill her, and Pegg—in probably the most intriguing casting here—is playing the deadly assassin who’s been hired to do the rubbing out.

And if all of that doesn’t sound like enough intrigue for you already, apparently old familiar face Bryan Brown (F/X, Cocktail) is going to be showing up to play a crooked cop as well. That’s quite the cast. If Stenders’ previous film, which starred Josh Lucas and a dog, was well-liked enough to become the ninth-highest grossing Australian film of all time, might this one have what it takes to actually top the list? You better watch your back, Crocodile Dundee.
