Sharks- Joys Of living 2008-2010 ( I know this looks like a comp that came out in 2010 but it is not. Sharks were unsigned and only had diy eps that were sold at shows and indie stores, after they signed with a label all of their eps were collected and put out as their first album in 2011)
Best soundtrack-

Put aside that this a sountrack for a Disney movie, Rodrigo y Gabriela destroy and Hans Zimmer is bloody brilliant.

The Smiths- Complete (I don't actually have this but I know it is great, it has everything they ever did and posters, a Dvd and other goodies, it only will set you back $500!)
And hey JD, I know what you are saying about finding new music. But there are different mags out there that can help and might I suggest you go the podcast route? There are countless ones out there, and yeah, it will take time to find the right one but there are podcasts that feature all types of new music.
