In what appears to be an uncredited, stolen bit of content, Perez Hilton has quoted David Koechner, who plays Champ Kind in the Anchorman films, on two key points of the upcoming sequel.

Firstly, that Christina Applegate will be returning in the role of Veronica Corningstone.

Secondly, that the film will be set around the launch of 24-hour news channels.

My wife and I flew through JFK on our way back from St. Marteen a few years ago. It was a big plane and when we boarded we walked to the far aisle to walk back to where the common folk sit. My wife starts elbowing and leaning her head to the left. It was Will Ferrell in first class. Ok whatever, not the first celeb I've seen. The plane sits on the tarmac for a few hours b/c of weather. They start showing 'Land of the Lost' and I about **** myself. Of all the Will Ferrell movies they could have shown you picked that steaming pile of crap. I can only imagine Will's response. I audibly laughed.

I get that...he's kinda like a method comedian. Very off putting. I'm not that big of a fan either. Most of his popular movies I don't care too much for, Anchorman/Elf...meh. But all the ones that bombed, The Other Guys/Land of the Lost/Semi-Pro, that's where the gold is imo. Land of the lost is such a misunderstood classic. Stoner movie marketed as a kidflick.
