I love Carl Weathers on AD so that's great news. Baby, you got a stew going!

THAT is good parenting.
New Arrested Development May Run To 15 Episodes - Production To Start Again In January - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors
The original order of new Arrested Development episodes for Netflix was just ten. We then heard that the number had gone up to twelve. Now, it’s being called “twelve to fifteen.”
This vagueness, according to Deadline, is because while Mitch Hurwitz has new ideas and lots of good material already in the can, he’s having to step back and work out how to use it all. There’s also the issue of getting the actors lined up and free of other commitments too so it may not be clear how much filming is actually possible.
‘Arrested Development’ Release Date, Episode Titles Revealed | /Film
According to them, the new season will debut in its entirety on May 4, 2013 in the U.S., the U.K., and Canada. Between Iron Man 3‘s opening on Friday (May 3) and Arrested Development‘s return on Saturday, I think I’ve got the first weekend of May planned out already. Sadly for our foreign friends, there’s no word yet on when the show will premiere in other territories.
Mitch Hurwitz Reveals ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Season 4 Details | Collider
Sounds interesting...maybe it's time for me to watch this from the beginning.Speaking with USA Today, Hurwitz talked about the overall arc of the new episodes:
“The bigger story is the family has fallen apart at the start of our show,” Hurwitz says. “They all went their own way, without Michael holding them together, so they’re left to their own devices, and they’re not the most successful devices.” The season is designed as a “first act to what we eventually want to do, which is a big movie,” though there’s no guarantee it will ever get made.
He went on to explain how each episode of the show is set up:
“Each individual (episode) kind of depicts what happens in 2006 as the Bluths fled from the law on the Queen Mary” in what was once the series’ finale, then explains what’s happened to them since and leaves them in the present day, he says.
Hurwitz revealed that Michael Bluth is the only character that appears in every episode, and they’ve been crafting the season with rewatchability in mind:
“The show will look very different,” Hurwitz says, and is being assembled as a “very, very complex puzzle” from scenes shot out of sequence over many months. The true flavor “slowly reveals itself, as the moment you saw in one show will reappear in another show from a different character’s perspective,” he says. “If people watch it all at once, it will seem like a giant Arrested Development. It’s really tailored for Netflix.”
Arrested Development To Feature Kristen Wiig, Seth Rogen And Flashback Fun - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors
I'm perfectly ok with Wiig doing the part, but I also really liked when they did flashbacks in the original series and it was still Jessica Walters, just dressed in 70's clothes and hair. So, we have no idea how much we’ll be seeing of them but Us Magazine have caught wind that Kristen Wiig and Seth Rogen will be making some scale of contribution.
Better still, Vulture know who Wiig is playing, and it’s a curious prospect. She’s going to be the young Lucille Bluth.
