I will continue to post articles on this simply to annoy Doc.
And I will continue to be amused that people keep pretending to like Revoluroes
Arrow is dangerously close to circling the drain. Endless repetive and boring island flashbacks where he is wearing the worst wig possible from the Burt Reynolds collection, less focus on the crimefighting and WAAAAAAAAAY too much focus on his dreadful family. I didn't tune into this show to see DALLAS. And 'the Count' wow...venturing into Adam West territory there. Get it together Arrow.
ya. that wig is awful. hahahahaha.
the count was pretty dumb, too. he'll probably be back in a more deranged state than he was introduced in also.
what's the significance to mckenna hall? i feel like she's a reference to one of the characters like "merlyn" and "speedy" are.
Well the Merlyn thing is something I wish they would really hit on. Barrowman rocks...so far they just keep teasing. Deathstroke(who has been recast w/Manu Bennett(Spartacus)) that will pay off at some point, but yeah, the Merlyn thing needs to go all Green Goblin too. I HATE his family...and his one expression is getting tired. Diggle is the BEST thing about the show so far.
ok, i had to google a bunch of these names. i have no idea what the names of any of the actors are except for the chick who plays laurel lance and that's only because she dated jarret stoll. i couldn't even tell you the name of the guy who plays oliver queen even though i'm forced to stare at his shirtless body every episode. haha! i just noticed manu bennett in this last episode during queen's flashbacks to the island. prior to this week, i wouldn't have even known. i liked this last one as he's finding out more about his mother and more of the island characters are getting revealed. diggle with the lighter and cigarettes switch did crack me up.
8 Reasons Why Arrow is Superior to Smallville - Topless Robot - Nerd news, humor and self-loathing.
and cue Doc Naysay in 3...2...1
i only got a chance to read the first 2 and so far, they're pretty valid arguments. i liked smallville and i like this, but i don't know if i would've liked smallville if i'd started watching it now. like young 20s me enjoyed smallville high clark and co. being in my 30s now, i appreciate arrow for the mature cheese that it is.
