According to the press release: "Revolution -- the season's only bona fide new hit series -- will return and follow The Voice on March 25 (10-11 p.m. ET) when it concludes its current fall broadcast dates in November."
Apparently, NBC doesn't remember how well that worked out for The Event or ABC's V and FlashForward. Those shows struggled after coming back.
Revolution seemed to be doing well in the ratings, especially among the coveted 18-49 year-old viewers, and has been averaging just under 9 million total viewers.
The drama Deception will be taking over Revolution's Monday night 10 p.m. time slot as of January 7, with The Biggest Loser as it's lead in.
The Voice is certainly a better lead-in and is NBC's most popular series. But taking a serialized show like Revolution off for nearly four months could be deadly. Time will tell.
