Thread: ATTACK the BLOCK

I went to buy it at a Best Buy this weekend and they didn;t have it, but told me other locations would. So I plan to buy it on the way home tonight.

Yeah I had to go to the Los Feliz location to get it. Pretty sad really. I mean, they had it in the circular. If you are going to put it in the weekly ad, the store should carry it. They aren't carrying Red State either. It has gotten to the point that, unless it's Green Lantern, or something of that magnitude you will probably need to order it and their delivery times are ridiculous whether you are having it home-shipped or shipped to store.

Yeah. I don't know why I still cling to store-buying when ordering it from Amazon is cheaper and so much easier. It's just... not the same.

I like going to Best Buy too for the instant gratification and the Rewards Zone benefits, but it takes at least a week to have stuff delivered. Just unacceptable.

If only there was a decent brick and mortar alternative...

Therein lies the problem. Best Buy busted their ass to be better than Circuit City. AND THEY WERE. So much so, that they drove them out of business. Now, without competition, they are cutting overhead by not actually stocking anything, which would be fine if they had Amazon-Prime like delivery rates. I can wait a day or two, but a week or two is ridiculous. And they charge more than Amazon too.

So I went to another Best Buy last night. One that said it was in stock on the website at.

Couldn't find it.

It's funny, the Glendale store guaranteed that they had that and Rare Exports, been burned before though so I set it up for in-store pickup. I hate to say it, but you should always do that. Make them hunt for it before you get there.
