I really dig Reinventing The Steel. I find it far from weak with songs like I'll Cast a Shadow, We'll Grind That Axe For a Long Time, Goddamn Electric - hell, the whole thing is solid and warrants no track skipping. Another flawless release from Pantera.

The band that immediately stands out to me is Thrice.

i've liked them since identity crisis when i first saw them open for AFI in oct 2000 or 2001. they've matured really well.

i have to agree with you re: RHCP. that band sucks now, but the guy did say "IMO" so i didn't say anything until you did. lol. :)

Fugazi is actually one of the few examples of bands that i honestly think get better with time.

i think bands that are/were always able to put out marvelous records though were little dependent on either lineup or collaborators are bands like COIL and the Fall.

Sigur Ros has become a FAR better band since their beginning. same goes for My Morning Jacket, even though i'm not a fan.


i'd say that was a BIG negative on the Radiohead.
