Thread: Book of Mormon

Haven't seen a thread on this here... how many of you have seen it? What did you think?

I, as I knew I would, loved it. I went in with no knowledge of any of the songs, so I got to take in the shock value/humor of all the songs for the first time during the performance, which was great. An ex-GF of mine converted to mormonism, so I know a thing or two about the religion... making all the details throughout the play more enjoyable.

I'd bought an extra pair of tickets to the last show of the run when they went on sale, figuring I'd sell them for a big profit... but looks like me and the GF are going to use them instead to go see it again. Will be fun to know what is coming this time around, and to experience it from a different viewpoint, etc.

Hoping to see it in November.

Kingsqueen has been going on about it since she saw it. Wouldn't mind going, but at $85 a ticket...nope. I will wait for the inevitable movie.

I ended up seeing it three times. Still listen to the soundtrack quite regularly. So amazing.
