They had a nice run!
I stopped by Borders yesterday the liquidation starts friday for the Victory/Canoga store.
Maniacal Laugh, Maniacal Laugh, Maniacal Laugh
They already terminated the two stores close to me.
This sucks. I hate B&N.
Really, I think I just hate the Internet.
Mrs Yog: "Hey, check out this great book! I downloaded it to my Kindle, it's awesome you should read it."
Yog: "Okay. Can I borrow the Kindle so I can read it?"
Mrs Yog: "Umm, can't, I'm reading something else on it right now."
Yog: "EX. F***ING. ZACTLY."
Sorry to read about that, I had taken advantage of their coupons and rewards perks. B&N feels too snobby for my tastes. Guess I'll be doing most of my shopping from now on at Amazon and Thriftbooks.
Weird, I'm in the meh category on this one, I've always preferred B & N over Boarders.
You all should check them out again just to see if it works for you now...
Now comes the time that they are going to jack the prices up when they liquidate everything. I bought the Theo Fleury book when the Long Beach one closed and I paid the same price I would usually at Barnes and Noble (without their discount). Barnes and Noble always seemed a little nicer to me and more upscale while Borders was just volume of books.
we went to the liquidation at the mira loma store when it closed and we got everything 40% off.. granted we went a few weeks after the liquidation started but they usually start at like 10% then go up from there. but everything was sort of picked through. but we still got a few good books
damn, i made my list of books to pick up between me and my wife we have 30+ books we wanna try and get
Yes you can. I switch between the ipad for reading in bed with the lights off to the kindle for reading outside to the iphone for reading when I'm stuck in a line at the grocery store. You can do this with the same book even...it will sync to the spot you were at on the last device read.
