That's the way I felt about it. I didn't really mind the sappy/woe is me moments, but I could have done without Wilson/Phillips gayness. That part was lame.

'Bridesmaids' Co-Writer Scores Big ABC TV Deal (Exclusive) - The Hollywood Reporter

Fresh from the success of Bridesmaids, the film’s co-writer/co-producer Annie Mumolo has landed a rich blind script deal at ABC.

The deal, which closed late Tuesday, calls for Mumolo to develop a project for ABC Studios that will be produced by Tagline, the production company behind USA’s hit dramedy Psych, as well as the recently-picked up ABC series Man Up.

I need to watch this movie again.

Loved this movie. Far closer to say The 40 Year Old Virgin than The Hangover, also in the sense that this will be Wiig's starmaker ala Carell.

However, goddam Wilson Phillips has been on a constant loop in my head for a day and a half now.
