'Chuck' casts 'Matrix' star Carrie-Anne Moss | Inside TV | EW.com
Cool...the kregger!!!!!Quote:
Chuck‘s final season continues to get more intriguing. Last week producers revealed Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, will guest star as a villain at the start of the fifth season. Now EW has learned another actor from major sci-fi franchise is getting on board: Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss.
The former Ms. Trinity will have a multi-episode arc as Gertrude Verbanski, “a former spy who now runs Verbanski Corp, the chief rival of Chuck’s new spy company. She’s ruthless and deadly, yet she also has a weak spot for one John Casey — her old rival.”
Producers of the NBC cult fav teased to Casey (Adam Baldwin) getting a love interest for the final batch of 13 episodes at Comic-Con last week, and earlier today news broke that Craig Kilborn would guest as a villain on the show. After The Matrix trilogy, Moss appeared in Disturbia and has done voice over on several videogame titles.

Finally, "Chuck" came to Comic-Con, and everywhere they've been going, it's been, 'Oh, this is the last season,' and yet there are certain elements of fandom that will always hold out hope.
I know! I hate to disappoint fans, but it really is going to be the last season. I wanted to properly end it so that the fans, who deserve to know when it's over, weren't left hanging again, like it has every season, practically. At this point in time, there is no talk of extending it. They're writing to the series finale
At least five seasons is a decent length. Especially with NBC close to canceling it every year.
There goes my hopes of Chuck surprising the hell out of everyone with INSANE ratings... which would force NBC to renew Chuck for a few more seasons.
=[
They didn't rule out the Casey / Morgan spinoff though ;)
