I watch Burn Notice just because of my loyalty to Bruce Campbell

And for those of you that love funky 50 and 60 westerns, films or tv, check out Encore Westerns, if you provider has it.
Randy, did you ever watch Branded?

I've come so close to buying the box set just for it's Big Lebowski connection...

i like when shows had those "whoa" moments.

Beverly Hills 90210 - david's friend and the gun episode
Saved by the Bell - Jesse drugs episode

    etc

Cinefamily theater occasionaly has a night of 'very special episodes' where they just show moments like those from old tv shows. Have never gone but I have heard it's a hoot.

i remember that saved by the bell episode!

there was also the one where the daughter on diff'rent strokes hitch hiked and got abducted or something, too.

then on full house, dj tanner suffers from anorexia because she's embarrassed by her "charlie brown face".

i agree about sitcoms having those occasional serious episodes.

Among many from childhood (latch key kid) into young adulthood (loser)
Otherwise known as the before cable time and after cable time.

Some I have not seen mentioned yet:
    Leave it to Beaver
"Ward weren't you a little hard on the Beaver last night?"
    Ozzie and Harriet
    Flintstones
Partridge Family (Laurie Partridge (Susan Dey) AND Shirley Jones ROCKED it!)
    The Monkees
    Lancelot Link
The Best of Sid & Marty Kroft ( HR Puff'n Stuff , Land Of The Lost , The Bugaloo's etc)
Gumby (Many owe Art Clokey their careers)
The Brady Bunch: I know it's cheesy and not that great of a show but this thing was on at least 2 times
a day in the 70's/early 80's and I am ashamed to admit that I know this show backwards and forwards.
    Cheers
    Barney Miller
    Anything Bob Newhart :
BoB Newhart show, Newhart , Bob
Chris Elliott Show "Get A Life"
    The Seinfeld

This is really just the tip of the iceberg to paraphrase. "TV is the opiate of the masses" and
    I am a junkie
