I have no problem with this.“R.I.P.D.” stars Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Bacon and Stephanie Szostak and is based on the graphic novel by Peter M. Lenkov which was adapted by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi who both paired on “Clash of the Titans” and “Ĉon Flux” (red alert?). The film follows a pair of deceased detectives, one a recently murdered cop (Bridges), the other a gunslinger from the Old West (Reynolds), with the former trying to find his killer. Parker will play Procter, who overseas the titular department and explains to Reynolds what the deal is after his character dies.

Interesting...First things first. At long last the ongoing question of pants/no pants issue is answered:
“People need to relax, she’s not wearing pants.
And it won’t be a completely new Wonder Woman:
“I can only speak for myself, were doing a soft reboot, we’re not getting rid of her history or anything like that.”
That should settle some fears particularly with the solicit for issue 3.
But it is his next comment that is most interesting and provocative:
But it’s not going to be a superhero book. I can guarantee you that, it’s not a superhero book. It’s a horror book.”
Interesting. Certainly Azzarello can write great horror as anyone who read his Joker knows. But Wonder Woman as horror story? That is a very radical idea.
But, Azzarello explains why he’s going that route:
We’re pushing the envelope with this one. I firmly believe that that’s what this character needs right now.”
