Thread: The Comic Books and Comic Book movies thread

I'll say this... if I had known that the plot revolves around a kid I would never have gone because this movie violates one of my biggest no no movie rules.

No movies where a kid or animal plays an instrumental role in fundamentally changing the nature or personality of the protagonist.

It's almost always bad news.

Well I didn't think that Crank 2 was as awesome as everybody thought... but I loved the first one and I enjoy (to a degree) that kind of frenetic film making.

But there just wasn't a lot of that in Ghost Rider and I don't have any appreciation for "Ooh I just love watching Nic Cage be crazy". I think I'm worn out on "I love it BECAUSE it's bad!".
