IDW Announces Creator-Centric 'Judge Dredd' Hardcovers And Recolored Classic Issues - ComicsAlliance | Comic book culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews

Judge Dredd fans have a lot to look forward to this fall. The live action Dredd 3D opens September 21, IDW's new Judge Dredd ongoing comic series at IDW by Duane Swierczynski and Nelson Daniel debuts in November and, as announced today, IDW will also be releasing creator-centric JD hardcovers beginning with Judge Dredd: The Complete Brian Bolland, a black-and-white edition showcasing Boland's signature take on the icon as they originally appeared in Great Britain's 2000 AD. What's More, beginning in the spring IDW will begin releasing classic Judge Dredd stories by Bolland, co-creator Carlos Ezquerra and others with new colors by Charlie Kirchoff. That's an awfully bright future for such a grim dude.

Nice. Wonder if they'll collect the Garth Ennis stuff in a hardcover at some point...

After being allowed to tease it eight days ago, today they can confirm it. Matt Fraction and Mark Bagley are confirmed on Fantastic Four, and Matt Fraction and Mike Allred confirmed on FF.

And while the Fantastic Four go on a journey through time and space, the FF will gain Ant Man She-Hulk, Medusa and… ta da! Miss Thing as member, a woman who wears a Thing suit, to keep an eye on things when they are gone.

This sounds ****ing insane and I don't think I can not buy that with Allred doing art monthly. I just can't.
