The White Martians, Sinestro and The Injustice League are no good.

My vote is for Starro.....

but why not the god damned Appellaxians? The League already has a perfectly decent origin story.

There's only one reason they're starting off with Darkseid. It's that damnable Transitive Property of DC Media.

Starro seems to be a big fave...but he is a GIANT STARFISH. That's just gonna look so damned silly. I can see it now...the first time Green Lantern forms a giant net(the kind you scoop up dead fish in an aquarium with) the entire audience erupts into laughter and...game over!

you don't start with the giant starfish. You build to it.

You start with regular citizens with tiny starfish on their faces.... puts the League in a tough spot having to save people trying to attack them without seriously hurting them or killing them.

But fine... I still say the Appellaxians are the way to go.

But it doesn't matter... The TPoDCM rules the day.

Yep. A bunch of folks walking about with starfishes violating their faces...right you are Doc, no mistaking that visual for silly. I stand corrected. Maybe Flash could wear a pair of long red devil suit underwear and his trap door could drop causing him to veer out of control while Yakkity Sax plays in the background. That would be about as un-silly as Starro in any incarnation.
