Regarding the author's concern for creative freedom, during peak eras for comic books, there have been one-shots, limited series, and even entire titles, devoted to alternate story arcs, so this is entirely possible for the movies as well, if the right project comes along. Plus, it's far more likely that, no matter how good the movies continue to be, eventually the audience will fade a little, and then, both in movies and in comic books, there's an even greater chance for alternate story arcs or entire reboots.
In the meantime, I'd much rather be watching a storyline that knows where it's going. It just makes sense.
Vin Diesel Hints at His Involvement in Marvel's The Inhumans
Hurm. Puzzling. Marvel, in order to be faithful, would have to have a mute Black Bolt. Period. There is no way around that. It is the basis of his character that his voice has the power to shatter worlds. And, as a purist, I would liken BB to Dredd in the fact that he is NEVER out of costume. Not exactly a part that too many actors would beg for. That being said, VD is as good as anyone else to play the part as long as he understands those limitations.
