I know it would be considered cheesy, but if they could some way use Atwell to play the daughter, perhaps change her look just a little and then have Rogers say something like "It is amazing how much you look like your mother!" I would be ok with it.

Like I said, way cheesy, but I would put up with almost anything to have Atwell in the future movies.

Sharon was her way younger niece in the comic continuity. Give Atwell blonde hair, and she's GTG for Avengers.

Of course, the idea of Sharon being her daughter is ridiculous! It would have to be her grand-daughter, great grand-daughter or as you pointed out, if they stick with the comic, her way younger niece.

DC Women Kicking Ass - Marvel developing female led TV properties

Today at SDCC Marvel announced that aka Jessica Jones is moving ahead in development at ABC and that it will include Carol Danvers and Luke Cage in the cast.

The big news was the development of Mockingbird that will place Bobbi Morse in college and follows her adventures as a student by day and secret agent by night.

KSite TV said Jeph Loeb described it as “Alias meets Felicity” and is targeted for ABC Family.

A series starring Cloak and Dagger is also in development for ABC Family.

Jessica Jones, huh? Cool. I imagine it will be immensely watered-down, but she's such a cool character.

I happened to LOVE Captain America! I swear to bob, Chris Evans....I would totally wreck that ****. I wasn't even a Captain America fan (because I have this aversion to superheros that wear Blue and Red and look too goody goody). But hey, he looked good throwing pretty much the ladies Wimbledon trophy at people. Did I mention the earnest and self sacrificing nature? And....the buffest looking man boobies I've seen in a while. I even liked how the female lead character was a fighter and is perfectly happy punching men and shooting at them when they piss her off. She gets a thumbs up from me.

I am not really holding my breath over the possibility that the Avengers movie with have strong females characters as this. Yes I know Black Widow and Maria Hill are in it. I said STRONG female characters, not two pairs of boobs for fanboys to jerk off to after they come home from the AMC. If that movie was just Captain America and Iron Man, I'd totally be on board. I still refuse to see Thor, but Adgy told me last night he acts like an emo *******. Why in the hell would I want to watch that?

The Avengers trailer did not impress me because Thor was doing his best impression of a K-stew emo sulk wearing a bad wig.
