That's a good question. They are rocking Fantasia for 3 nights with fireworks, so that's something at least. Thought long and hard on that one and may still pull the trigger. But I'm with ya on the Warner's stuff- where's Bugs?

I already got my ticket to Cheap Trick/Dream Police in Sept at the Greek. Don't get me wrong- could easily roll with another night of Sgt Pepper since they just kill that sh** live (saw it twice). But Dream Police start to finish? Yea, count me in for that!

Just a heads up- for some reason TM is not showing the first two nights as Fantasia. They are just showing it as Los Angeles Philharmonic. But no mistake, Friday Aug 19th and Sat Aug 20th are performances of Fantasia. Enter 2011BOWL now to search for available seats.

I thought about that Fantasia show as well, but decided to get John Williams again. I've only missed his performances at the bowl a couple times over the last decade and it never gets old.

In my limited experience, the Bowl is one of the worst, if not THE worst venue for being able to get tickets reasonably close in advance. Case in point, yesterday's presale got me a pair in the back of G2, which is probably as good as I expected. By the Bowl measures it's not bad at all, but it's still pretty effing far. I'm going to try to get something closer in the secondary market as we get closer to the show. In the past I've been able to get reasonably priced seats in D to a couple of shows.
