Catching Devo this Friday w/ psychopuck.
Perhaps one of the dudes you saw with a Kings hat was me! If it was a handsome debonaire guy it was probably me, if it was a goofy looking dude it was some other guy.
But seriously, it was sort of wierd to see them play such a big show. Didn't Nick say it was the biggest show they ever headlined? It was cool that even though it was such a big show for them, they still played like it was a small venue.
I had not seen them for a few years and it was cool to see them again, and very cool that they played such a great show.

Yeah, he said it was their biggest headlining show ever. This was about my 10th or 11th Tiger Army show and I had never seen them in a place with actual seating before, lol. Just an awesome show though. In all the times I've seen them, I had never gotten to hear them play "The Loop" so that was awesome. The Ritchie Valens cover they did was great as well.
I can't wait to see them again in October! This was my first TA show in at least 4 years and I forgot how much I love seeing them live.

Black Holes and Revelations is your best starting point

Absolution terrific too

If on the theory that you start with a good all around instructive introduction to Muse, and then work your way up to the best (Absolution), then yes. Don't skip Origins of Symmetry - while still a bit raw as far as sound and Bellamy's singing, it has some of their absolute best songs. Resistance last, once you mastered those three. Showbiz and Hullabaloo if you're REALLY dedicated.
I was at LA Rising too. I really enjoyed Rage and Muse. Rise Against, as expected, was horse ****.
