Really? Hahah! I still listen to Rome from time to time but never head him say that. But yea, when my concert 'pal' unfamiliar with their shtick asked me what Rise Against was like, I said "teen angst, and sketchy songwriting ramped up to 11". Yea that covers it, I think. i'm seeing 2 of my favorite musicians/bands, dustin kensrue (of thrice) and jimmy eat world, down the street from me at the pier on friday. I.CAN'T.WAIT. nothing better than a bike ride down to the beach and watching the music i love by the sea. there's a break in between the performances, too, so i might grab happy hour at duke's or somewhere else on main st.
I'm going to some festival in OC in mid-August. The headliners are ok, but there are a lot of smaller bands that i'm down to check out.

according to the US open's site, they go on at 5:30pm.
they're also playing the race track at del mar aug 12. i'd have gone to that if they weren't already playing in my hometown, but the 2nd show is closer to you in case diddy can't get himself out of work early enough.
btw. i just saw diddy in "get him to the greek" and the movie aside, diddy as sergio was funny as all f***. HAHAHAHAHA.
