Got tickets to see Bush - June 15 at Staples Center, with supporting act Nickelback.

Okay....granted I really got tickets as an "I love you no matter what" gift for the wife as she loves the nickel boys. If I get to hear a little Everything Zen/Machinehead to ease the pain, I'll suffer through it. I have no shame.

Some groups I've never heard of - Seether and My Darkest Days (hopefully a good riddance cover band) are opening.

Still waiting for that Candlebox/Ugly Kid Joe/Stabbing Westward tour...

Seether fits right in...sorta pseudo/angsty 'we're not metal' band...My Darkest Days, you may want to get there late. Fun in a bad way. Best song is about pole-dancers

i'm actually considering going to see bush and walking out after... glad i wasn't the only one

i'm going to see my brother-in-law's band Sotto tonight at the Standard in Hollywood... if you're into folk music - s*** like Mumford & Sons, you should show up... they go on at 8:30 and it's FREE!


i'm also going to be checking out Starf***er tomorrow in Anaheim (i think)... i should have gone with the same person i'm going to this show with, to the Sleigh Bells show at the Mayan last night.
