Sweet Christ, I don't know how many chances Chelsea Wolfe is going to give me to see her live, now that I've missed 5 or 6 shows she's done in LA but hopefully I can make it to this one.

She has been booked with a lot of metal/loud bands recently but this one looks like she will fit the vibe of the night. I am a fan of Tearist and Light Asylum isn't so bad, so I think I will be in attendance.

So who's going to coachella this first weekend? Radiohead, Godspeed!, flying lotus.... Holy sheeeeeeit!

So ... This probably wasn't one of Zola Jesus' best nights.

She had some problems with her voice and the whole thing was over in approx. 45 mins (no encore).

She even finished the concert saying "anything more at this point would be sabotage" so I guess she was really unhappy with her voice.

She's a great performer though and a pleasure to watch. Honest, personal and no-bull**** type of singer. So overall impression was still good.

Laibach on 20th of April

Jex Thoth in May

Kyuss Lives! in May

Ahab & Esoteric in June

Sigur Ros in September. Damn this one is far away. But still.

I bet that at least half of Godspeed's set will conflict with Radiohead. Anyhow, should know for sure later tonight.

6/29 - Anaheim house of blues
6/30 - Sunset house of blues

It's been 20 years??? Probably hitting the 6/30 show. Picked up their new album this week. Liking it so far. It's like a fast Life in General/Let it Happen era mxpx meets a bit of social distortion, with juuust a twinge of phoenix ignition thrice thrown in a few parts.

I accounted for this possibility by flying up to SF to see GY!BE at the Great American Music Hall on April 20th. That way, no need to miss any Radiohead. See? :D
