I was in vegas this past weekend and was going to try and go, but ended up drinking way too much wine at Il Mulino and ended up leaving a pai gow table at 4:30 am..

now THIS is a festival i'd LOVE to attend... why can't we get cool s*** like this in LA?

I just bought tickets for the Whiskey show without blinking. Provided the baby boy doesn't come early (due Oct 22), I'm there.

omg, I should see if my husband wants to go to the chain Rxn show. I love that venue but being as old as I am now, most of the bands that play there now are what the OC kids aged 12-22 like.

being that Good Riddance is probably my favorite band, I am happy. Rankin is actually a huge Devils fan.

Canes circa 1999, Good Riddance/H2O. I sat at the bar for 45 minutes watching NHL playoffs next to him before they went on. He seemed skeptical at first, but eased the tension once I offered him a piece of bubble gum. good times.

At first I thought it was gonna be a gear convention (which woulda been just as sweet), but that's a kiiillller EDM lineup (not even counting goodies like EitS/EL-P/etc).

Four Tet, Squarepusher, Orbital, and Shpongle? Yes please!!!!!

I'm gonna go to the new All Tomorror's Parties event in NYC next month. Some great bands playing, but what made it can't-miss for me is Philip f***ing Glass! He's doing some new collaboration with one of the original members of Battles... Can't wait!
