UM YES to that quicksand tour. just bought tix to the SD show since i think i missed out on the LA presale. wish i'd checked here and the other music board i go to sooner. hopefully, my neighbor will be able to watch my kid that day...
and ya, it is unpunk to scalp, but you gotta do what you gotta do to pay for them diapers. s*** gets expensive.
i'm with you in terms of my never doing such a thing. i'm not gonna judge if other people do though. then again, i haven't ever really gotten f***ed when trying to buy tickets for bands i want to see. i'm sure if i wanted to see someone big, i'd be annoyed if the flippers got to tickets before i did.
same problem happens with records. lots of people get their panties in a bunch when others buy out the stock of limited edition releases only to re-sell at an inflated price. i try not to get upset about stuff like that because in the end... it's just stuff. but the answer is a resounding yes. it is very unpunk to do such things.
anyway, when your credits run out, amazon mom is a great service. prime membership for a year and then you get a subscription (ie discounted price) on diapers. mine's potty trained now so i haven't had to dump $30/mo in quite a while. yippee.

it's not likely i'll buy tickets but i still haven't secured my pops-in-law as a sitter for the SD show... and he's pretty old-fashioned so i think the thought of being alone with a little girl might be slightly terrifying to his non-nurturing instincts even if i'm gonna put her to bed before i head out to the show.
edit: nvm, I got it and I don't need it b/c grandpa will watch my kidling. yay!
