    Yikes.
Haha, quick story. Around 9 years ago I saw Sick of it All at Soma in San Diego. Keep in mind I'm pretty much a statute at concerts and just enjoy myself listening to the music. This was one of the only concert's and the first I believe where I decided to get involved and dance around. End of the night they do their braveheart thing where everyone rushes together from both sides of the room into the middle and I feel a crack in my mouth and spit out half a tooth. The worst thing is I'm really not a big fan of them and really just went to the show because I was going to tons of shows at the time. I was fairly pissed at the time and moved my calm ass back to the side for the next show.

they had a statement saying if anyone was really upset and no longer wanted to go, they'd do their best to do something along the guest list lines next time they come through the area.

Probably about 2,000 people will say as much in LA, but you should probably get on that.

Got my tickets for Lou Reed at the Orpheum during pre-sale. 8th row!

David Byrne and St Vincent announced more tour dates too. They're gonna do a show at the Mountain Winery up in Saratoga. Think I'm gonna do it- love that venue!

Oh, and for those who didn't already know- Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are going to do 6 nights at the Fonda Theatre on June 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, and 11. Gonna be a great way to see him! But guess I gotta actually pull a ticket during the on-sale before I start thinking I'll be getting in.

ya, i saw that. probably won't take them up on the offer since i'm not THAT disappointed and i think it's a crapshoot in a big market like LA (socal, actually). i like bad religion, but they're nothing mindblowing live, the show's at the s***ty palladium and i have to pull off some major commuting to arrange childcare so i'm debating skipping the show. an AM!/BR bill was what sold me and made it worth going to despite the cons. the show's not sold out yet though so i don't know how easy it'd be to resell my tix. also, i'm going with one of my punkrocks.net friends so i don't think he'll be too pumped if i flake.
i'm probably gonna give polar bear club a listen to see if that'll sweeten it a bit up for me. my pr.net friend said they were good but since they were the first band, it wasn't likely we'd make it in time to see their set.

ya, same here. they just added the bronx to the bill. by way of ianmonsta, i've heard their mariachi el bronx incarnation but not the bronx proper. i'll have to give them a listen and figure out how motivated i can get.
