Concerts Of 2k13 Thread

2013 is here- time for a new Concerts of 2k** thread!

In this thread we'll list the shows we are planning to attend 2013 and write up reviews for them. This is also a good place to give a "heads up" on ticket sale times/dates and various tour announcements.

For now, I have two things lined up in the New Year

Coachella, 2013, Weekend 1
(line up TBA)

Psycho de Mayo, Sunday May 5th, Yost Theater
Feat. Black Mountain and A Place To Bury Strangers

A slow start for me, to be sure (inexplicably passed on Yeah Yeah Yeah tix at the Glasshouse). But it'll pick up soon enough!

The only one I have for sure planned right now is Chelsea Wolfe at the First Unitarian Church on Feb 8th.

Hm I thought King Dude was also playing that show, but i guess not after all. I'm into his act for some weird reason...

I'll be in Vegas that weekend for Morrissey at the Cosmo

Other shows I plan to attend early in '13:

Neurosis at the Fonda 1/4
Om at the Center for Arts in Eagle Rock 2/18

It's all about Wilson Philips 1/11 at the canyon club.

Have to pass on Neurosis because of other matters. Sucks ass.

I didn't know Om was playing... might see about going to that one, as the lady likes them a lot, too.

Coachella boards seem to think YYY's are a lock for this year.

Coachella week 1 here too.

Not a Concert, but a performance nonetheless, and it better be cooler than the other side of the pillow to drag my old ass out of doors...

ARCHER live @ the Echoplex. 1 of 4 performances and I literally had to break the piggy bank fer tix. Q&A and live performances of greatest scenes from the tv show. If the panels @ SDCC 2012/2011 are any indication...this is gonna be a hoot.
