I've only seen Tool once. Years ago. At the Fabulous Forum.
They were booed, lol.

I am hearing Failure is opening for them on this mini-tour. That's gonna be great. But maybe nothing will ever beat the confused looks I saw when Melt Banana opened for them a few years ago. My Bloody Valentine going on before them at APW in New Jersey also caused many a meat-head to get indignant. I loved it. Both are great bands.

Just saw Secret Cheifs 3 the other night at the Bootleg Theater--such a great show! There was a hilarious drunk guy shouting absurd thing inbetween songs like "OOOOBAMA... 2006!" and "That was SO GOOD it SUCKED!" -- Added to the fun quirkiness.

Section UT23, Row 18, Seat 14-15. Not great seats, but better than nothing.

I assume that means that someone has the tickets on hold and then they get released, but it's weird.
The whole process seems a lot more simplified than Ticketmaster, though.

I really am not a fan of AXS. The waiting room hasn't been a huge problem for me but I have heard it can time out. I much prefer the interactive map on TM. Problem there is that map is normally not available during the first day of sales.
One more thing about these shows- I noticed the VIP seats for the San Diego and Vegas show are gone. This indicates to me these shows may be hard sell outs. But I am still willing to bet there will be a few last minute releases of unused press and friends of band tickets. I scored 6th row to night 2 in San Diego a few days before last time they were there. May be worth a check in the week before if trying to upgrade seats.

Thanks, I'm waiting to see if my friend can get work off, but an definitely interested.

And I do not like the fact that if you get a bad seat, you have to go through the waiting room process all over again you can just release and get another location.
Also when I bought tickets for Depeche mode it was ridiculous. Pre sale went bad, and took for ever to get the best seat even when good sections were highlighted I would still get the worst available. And then when General went on sale the whole ****ing thing shut down and everyone got ****ed and even when you thought you got tickets, they didn't go through and calling them is a joke also.
I prefer ticket master because they actually give you the best seats available...

Yeah they sold out pretty fast, I always check weeks before to find better seats.. Looking for more for the first Cinquinta show( I have the second). I did that for Atoms for Peace at the Hollywood bowl, ended up in the 2nd row. It was amazing.
