    Agreed.

I have an old VHS tape of some concert they did on pay per view from like the early 90s. (really funny as soundgarden opened and nobody knew who the hell they were). It's like damn, if they could only replicate a performance like that somewhere I could see it live..

turns out the "VIP" might not be any of that ****. seeing as to my friend bought it via stubhub.. I just looked into it and saw those are non-transferable.. so I would think they are either fakes or some other sort of VIPs. we are contacting stubhub to see. BUT I hear all the REAL VIP's seats are located in the PIT section!! SCOREEE! for you.
but, now I am still looking for tickets to both shows aand just me! mwahaha. stubhub prices are ridiculous, I hate everyone.

This Will Destroy You were excellent last night. My second time seeing them. They're kind of a low rent post rock band, very similar in style to Godspeed You! Black Emperor. The Echo was jam-packed... maybe wasn't loving that part of it since it got tough to move around. Sound was decent though and the band hit their stride about mid-way through, delivering a major assault on my ears. Loved it!

Sorry to hear. Yea, far as I know there isn't any way to have advance VIP tickets to Cinquanta. It's 100% will-call and you have to show ID proving you were the original purchaser.

On a related note- VIP Tool in San Diego for me tomorrow! Certain to be top highlight of my concert-going year. I have to be there just before 1pm. Once inside, we go straight to a Q&A session with Adam Jones. I've even heard MJK has popped by for a couple of them. Awesome!

Do I want to see Queen with some other guy singing for them? He actually sounds pretty good, but they seem to want me to pay Freddie Mercury prices.

I got a lot to say, but way too tired to say it all right now! Performance was great. Push|t the definite highlight for me musically and visually. The VIP experience had its ups and downs. Adam was gracious and spoke for 2 hours. And the ticket... welp, better I just post a pic. Here's said ticket and some interesting looking guys sandwiching Justin Bieber and Ricky Martin

The Tool show was incredible. I don't know if it's just because I had way better seats than any previous Tool show or now, but it was easily the best show I've seen them do to date.

I don't get these guys. They shouldn't be this good at this point in their careers. But there it is.

My thoughts on the VIP experience here

I think Tool lasted because they found other distractions, side projects, and outlets and took long breaks from Tool before their band imploded/burned out, unlike many of their peers who waited to implode and burn out first and then go on to side projects and other things. But i'll be honest i haven't listened to that band for over 10 years, but teenage me was obsessed
