Criterion Teases Three Colors Trilogy
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Criterion fans finally received evidence that Krzysztof Kieślowski's famed Three Colors trilogy: Blue (1993), White (1994) and Red (1994) will debut on Blu-ray in the near future when the distributor teased snippets of the cover art via Facebook.

Finally, a batch of films get the BluRay upgrade: Ingmar Bergman‘s Christmas classic “Fanny & Alexander” is spitshined for HD; Jean Renoir‘s masterpiece “The Rules Of The Game” remains cool in Blu and Wes Anderson nerds will get every frame of “Rushmore” in 1080p.
Still, I can't wait for Wes Anderson:the family films to be released on Criterion
I think all of the Wes Anderson films are out of print except for Bottle Rocket, at least I know Tenenbaums is.
November is a really strong release month. 12 Angry Men was a pleasant surprise and I hope to see some more classics like that. I've never seen the Three Color Trilogy though. I have them sitting on the movies to watch shelf, but now I'm contemplating selling them and waiting for the Criterion release.
Did you get the new email newsletter? Any ideas what the picture of the bull refers to? Almodovar perhaps?
I ****ing LOVE them. I don't know how much that boxset is going to cost on Blu, but I hope it's not too bad because I'd really love to get it the day it comes out.
I do get the newsletter, but I barely looked at the picture of the bull. I have no idea what it might be.Did you get the new email newsletter? Any ideas what the picture of the bull refers to? Almodovar perhaps?
