Words can't describe how much I am looking forward to this movie along with Prometheus!! :dancing_cube:
I'll be honest. I'm a bit disappointed with the new poster. It's exactly the same as the teaser poster with a different color and a Batman layer added on top of it. Also, not sure if it's intentional, but the color scheme is like Batman Begins. A warm, orange quality. The Dark Knight was more cold and blue. The earlier posters for this one made it seem like they were going for a white look with dark contrast but this seems out of place.
More Anne Hathaway in the rain please.
Christopher Nolan Director's Collection Blu-ray
Quote:
In anticipation of the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises theatrical release, Warner Home Entertainment will bring the Christopher Nolan Director's Collection to Blu-ray. This box set collects five of the Academy Award-nominated auteur's most celebrated films, including:
Memento
Insomnia
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
Inception
The seven-disc package presents each film in its 2.39:1 original aspect ratio (with occasional shifts to 1.78:1 for The Dark Knight) with both 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio tracks and - in Batman Begins' case - 5.1 Dolby TrueHD tracks. Supplementary features are still unknown, though it is expected that the pictures' bonuses from their individual Blu-ray editions will carry over into this bundle.
Note: Regarding Memento, Warner has licensed Lionsgate's 10th Anniversary Edition, meaning that the A/V quality and supplements should replicate that earlier disc's attributes.
In addition, Warner has promised a number of materials specific to this Director's Collection, such as:
Forty-page photo book with images and behind-the-scenes information from the five films
Ten collectible photo cards
A Movie Cash voucher good for $8 off the cost of a Dark Knight Rises ticket
The Christopher Nolan Director's Collection streets on June 26th.
