I agree that the original Bane voice was creepier and I wish they could have just cleared it up a little bit. Even the timing of some of the dialogue has changed.
Finally saw it. It was good but my expectations were sky high and I came away feeling somewhat disappointed. It lacked the focus and intensity of The Dark Knight, it was a little bit all over the place at times.
Bane was cool and him crying near the end was a nice touch that I really liked, the character needed something at that point.
The autopilot thing was way too obvious and once they showed the scar on Miranda I knew she was up to no good and felt fairly confident in her eventually betraying Batman (also in classic James Bond fashion, two girls equals one too many). I also realized he'd have to make the jump without the rope to get out of that hole. I think there were a few too many things I saw coming, I rarely felt like I had no idea how they'd move forward. There was always a way out that was just a little bit too obvious.
The Alfred thing didn't bother me... It was a bit strange but whatever. Didn't take anything away from the movie for me. The Robin reveal made me cringe a bit though I'm not sure why. Maybe I'm just having a hard time associating anything positive with Robin.
I'll have to wait until I can watch the movie again in the comfort of my home to truly know how I feel about it. Right now I'm content yet slightly disappointed because I wanted Rises to completely blow me away. It didn't but it sure made 2 hours and 40 minutes go by real fast.
