Generally speaking..... people shouldn't take him seriously as a character. I know Nolan thinks otherwise, but the Mr Microphone 'hey good looking I'll be back to pick you up later' quality of Bane's voice was VERY off putting.

The movie could have been cut 40 minutes easily to get rid of the fluff, Bane as a character isn't scary like the Joker is, he's just a brute with a Sean Connery voice box, sounded like a love child between Goldfinger and Bela Luogsi's Dracula. The death scene of Miranda was so bad, that was the take they used? Large plot holes abound throughout the film, certainly the Return of the Jedi of this trilogy.

I understand exactly what you're saying, but I think the other Robins are good characters. Except for Jason Todd, I mean. It depends on the writer, but there have been a number of good Tim Drake stories, for example. I do agree that the number of Robins in the given timespan (especially in the New 52) is pretty ridiculous, but these are Batman comic books, so I just go with the flow.

I'm referring to a 10 year old Damien Wayne. And don't give me this "trained by the league of shadows" poppycock. HE'S 10 YEARS OLD.

But yea there's Nightwing, Red Robin, Red Hood, Robin, Batgirl, Huntress, Spoiler, other Batgirl and a few others I can't think of right now.... and they ALL basically live the Batman lifestyle.

Well **** that. Batman supposedly spent the better part of his life training for this life and he has a billionaires bank account to purchase medicines and health care and gadgets and influence and contacts etc etc etc etc etc

The more "regular" human characters that take up the mantle of the Bat-lifestyle the less impressive everybody should find it. Property of diminishing returns. ****ing bull**** I hate ****ing comic books.
