Thread: Dark Shadows

Watched this via Redbox last night and went in with no expectations. I am not the worlds biggest Tim Burton fan as I generally feel he goes way too far in self indulgence and thus becomes his directorial undoing.

But for DS, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The story had a nice balance of humor and horror if you will. I thought the end got a bit too twilightish for me but all in all the movie not nearly as bad as critics panned it. Quite frankly, I enjoyed DS far more then Burton's Wonka remake. Depp is fantastic and dialogue was very well written and humorous. Throw in a lot of attractive buxom blond chicks and youve got a fairly decent movie....especially for one buck on Redbox.

On a side note, should Christopher Lee be like well over 100 at this point?
