Thread: Dexter:The Final Season

In the end...what really happened. Deb is in even deeper. And she is gonna break at some point. Dexter fell into another impossible romance. Ray Stevenson did some nice work. And some once promising characters(LaGuerta/Angel/Quinn/Masuka) became barely sketched out repetetive charictures. Meanwhile...why kill LaGuerta? Didn't her initiating the paperwork on the cell phones pretty much set that into motion? Surely there has to be one functioning detective in the Keystone Kops. What was once credible has become ridiculous...and is now a total fantasy. Yeah, Nasti, there was a certain lazy charm that Lundy had...and he is missed. But Doakes was a pitbull and a lot of fun as well. This show just really isn't fun anymore.

I thought this was easily the best season since Season 4, and was quite entertained throughout. Guess I'm in the minority.

I think every season since 4 has been sub par. But 6 had a creepy element to it at least.

Also, I think the show misses Rita.
