That makes Clifford look less scary somehow.

If the writers get a look at Clifford, he may be the next guest star. Look at the money they would save on makeup. Those eyes creep me out

Good episode. Ronny Cox has always been a fave of mine. I like how Dexter got caught underestimating a fellow serial killer. He never assumed that a guy who had escaped capture for so long might be just a clever & crafty as he is. It was a nice chink in the armor and the resolution was really good too. The other storyline with Olmos/Hanks continues to develop and it's clear that Hanks' character has some serious misgivings. It's all about faith. Angel's sister has been given NOTHING to do so far but I really think I may be right about where they are going with that due to the whole no more slides/'there is no order' thing and the postmortem with the showrunners where he basically admitted that people have come to expect some repeating results and they want to take the show out of that comfort zone. I posted on the FallTv thread recent ratings and apparently they have taken a dip, that can't help Hall's negotiating position...although I like the show it always felt like it had an expiration date. Maybe they should wrap it up? The preview looked like someone might be exiting the cast in the near future, but they have teased that before.
Hah...knew I recognized Deb's new detective...Death Row Reynolds from Light's Out. Man...that was a good show.

Of course Masuka's assistant is just using him to get evidence. Wonder if Dexter axes her.

I agree, BUT, another stretch with Angel and dickhead smoking dope in the Trans Am, going back to the station then getting the munchies and making sense in a collabrative effort. They would have stunk up the place and I think someone would have noticed. I also think we will see more of Masuka's ex assistant but in a different role
