    Default Did you Know the Morrison Hotel is a few blocks away from Staples?

    For you Doors fans....a good read here about the photo used for the Morrison Hotel Album.

    Judging by the photos, it is not recognizable as the same place. Probably be better off walking a few blocks to take some pictures at the Bradbury building.

    ...no but if you hum a few bars I'll try it.

    It's probably being used as a container for human wastes. As hard as they try to civilize the area around Staples there are just some spots that cannot be cleaned.

    Yet it still appears to be a much better neighborhood than at the Forum. Go figure.

    Great point though....would those few blocks of urban waste be better served as a football stadium?

    God no. The street blockage/traffic would just be insane. You remember when the Kings game fell on the same weekend as the auto show. Imagine that x's 10.

    I knew because I have hard core Doors fans in my family and we went sight seeing, well, before Downtown became posh, haha.

    Speaking of the Doors, isn't "Waiting for the Sun" one of the best Summer albums? I am gonna listen to it now, wait, don't have copy of it now, I'll have to wait when I get home.
