Default Gilmour Plays with Waters again

Those wishing for a Pink Floyd reunion perpetually need to be reminded not to hold their breath, however fans were right to anticipate an onstage collaboration between ex-bandmates Roger Waters and David Gilmour this year.....

My buddies who are working on the Roger Waters tour said the show at the O2 in London was totally amazing. Wish I could have been there. Well, I will actually be working at the O2 in July but tonight must have been epic.

It will happen from all that I am reading...prolly will be LA/NY and a few scattered(as far as U.S.), but let's be honest, the tix are going to be ridiculous. Three or Four bills at least.

This was a deal they made when Waters played with Gilmour at a charity event a few months back, that Gilmour would play at one of Waters' shows on his The Wall tour. I figured all along that it would be one of the London gigs. I doubt there's going to be any sort of reunion or tour to follow, at least not according to what I've read. Oh, and tix for Waters here were pushing three bills as is.

Exactly...so any 'special event' would be astronomical.

And coincides with yet another re-release remastering of the old Floyd catalog.

I'm with Goallum on this (yet again- shakes fist!). This was a one or two off and nothing more. There won't be any PF reunion.

And yes, I DO consider Waters/Gilmour an actual PF reunion. Just throwing that out there preemptively before the Wright fans get their licks in.

Ok, yes he screwed it up. But so what? It was still freakin Pink Floyd. For the half rehearsed event it was, I gotta say it sounds damn good.

Worth also noting that just as Gilmour launches into the main solo, Waters stops moving and stands stationary to ensure Gilmour gets all the spot light.

Any artist that charges that much for their fans should really be viewed with a hefty dose of skepticism. How exactly would they be hurt if they charged $5 a head. Would they even notice the bottom line?
I obviously need a lesson in market economics, and how it is good to take care of your great-great-grand-kids by gouging people who revere you.
