Default The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Red-Band International Trailer for THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO Debuts in Europe; Green-Band Domestic Trailer Launches June 2nd

While everything from any IMDb user should be taken with a grain of salt, here’s how one described the trailer [via /Film]:

So a few thoughts on this, anyone that is worried about it not following the Orginal/book can put that worry to bed. This looks to be as graphic if not more then the orginal. The trailer consists of a bunch of quick cuts of scenes from the movie. Alot of things from the Orginal that we only see in still photos and hear characters talk about are actually filmed and shown. Any worry about Rooney Mara not looking the part don’t need to worry. There is a shot in the trailer of her topless pulling on a shirt much like Noomi Rapace does in the others. Mara looks the part for sure. Skinny as Rapace, only thing it looks like they may have done is toned down the punk look some. But not alot. Not sure what else to say other then the trailer was very intense, it was set to Led Zeppelins immigrant song.

I am surprised and dismayed that Boobytrap has not weighed in on how the artist formerly known as a 'leathery fruit rollup(paraphrased)' has transformed hisself into 'BaggyFace Johnson' for this part.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

After seeing the trailer again last night before X-Men, I decided to look for some screen captures of it so I could look at them a little longer.

.Shadow of Reflection: Version 15: Sound and Vision.

Not great quality, but they're the best I could find so far.

Daniel Craig Says ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ A Return To Adult Dramas Like ‘The Godfather’ > The Playlist

“It’s as adult as you can possibly make it. This is adult drama. I grew up, as we ****ing all did, watching ‘The Godfather’ and that, movies that were made for adults, Craig tells the magazine. “And this is a $100 million R-rated movie. Nobody makes those anymore. And Fincher, he’s not holding back. They’ve given him free rein. He showed me some scenes recently, and my hand was over my mouth, going, ‘Are you ****ing serious?’”

But even more intriguing, Craig seems to intimate that what Fincher has put together isn’t simply gratuitous but gains its power from what’s implied rather than shown. “...it’s not that he simply showed me footage that was horribly graphic,” Craig says. “It was stuff that was happening, or had happened. And somehow you don’t see it.”
I remain excited as **** about this movie.
