What can be said. ALL the catchphrases...Scheider...Dreyfuss...Shaw...Bruce, the shark that couldn't...

Look, last year at SDCC Spielberg finally showed, and got the geekgasm he is due(I was proud just to be in the room). The man is a genius and JAWS is probably as close to a perfect movie as it gets. Think about it. It's unpleasant, skinny dippers/kids/dogs buy the proverbial farm. And then it turns into a magical adventure...till Robert Shaw tells THAT story. The tone is all over the place. Yet, it works. A special effect that would not co-operate...so they showed less...AND IT WORKED BETTER!!!!. Perfect confluence of movie magic. So give me my BLU...and Hollywood, if you are listening, there are 2 movies you can't touch. Godfather is one. Jaws is the other. Do what you want otherwise...but when it comes to these...save your money. And if you think you can do better...look at alllllllll the JAWS sequels.

I haven't watched Orca and have been warned to avoid it like the plague.

Orcas are like the evil cousins of dolphins anyways.

If you watch the movie `Jaws' backwards, it's a movie about a shark that keeps throwing up people until they have to open a beach.

It's a good thing that they didn't make a Jaws movie in 3D...oh wait...

Except for 2 horrible casting decisions: Ellen Brody and Mrs. Kintner, the movie would be perfect.
