But now, we have titles that have been explicitly registered as titles for movies. According to The One Ring, the contenders are, once again, The Desolation of Smaug and a new option, The Battle of Five Armies.

Haha! When I read The Hobbit for my genre fiction class one of the quiz questions was why aren't there hardly any women in the The Hobbit and lol, I was hungover when I tool said quiz, and didn't answer the question.
And my prof then, lol, told me you didn't answer the question, and I was still hungover, lol, so I told him, because Emily Bronte didn't write it. Haha!
No, but seriously, a good question, is The Hobbit strictly a boy's tale and will these films follow this or add females for commercial sake (thanks Frank Zappa).
