Looks like netflix is going all in with original programming.
    3. Narcos

Coming from Gaumont International Television, Narcos is a drama series that will chronicle the life and death of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. While there hasn’t been a ton of information on Narcos since it was announced in February 2013, there also hasn’t been any news that would suggest Netflix is planning to abandon the project.

Brazilian-born Jose Padilha, who is the director behind the upcoming RoboCop reboot for Sony (NYSE:SNE) and MGM, is set to oversee and direct the thirteen-episode first season, which is based on his idea. Also involved with Narcos are writers Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard (Sorcerer’s Apprentice), while Eric Newman (Children of Men) is serving as executive producer.
Sold. Gotta call Verizon on the way home tonight and see if they can do anything about my internet connection.

Big improvements for those who use the Xbox, PS3, Rokus or smart TV's to stream Netflix. None of this changes help me as the Apple TV version of the app remains in it's inferior design language.

The Hola extension for Chrome allows you to stream movies which may not be available on Netflix in the U.S. but is available in another country

I really need to go take a look at what's on prime. Back in the day, it was always the same stuff that was on Netflix so there was no point. I've been told they have a good amount of content that Netflix doesn't have now though.

How's the speed? I've always found free proxies to be horrendously slow. I pay for a VPN.

It's not a proxy. It just tells Netflix you're someplace else when you log in. I don't think it checks location again after initially checking.

It is a proxy. Even says it in the title for their home page. The only way Netflix can know where you are is from your IP address. The only way to get around that is to proxy through an IP address registered in another country. I wouldn't be surprised if they only check that once when you first connect though. Exactly as you said.

    No speed loss though?

Steven Van Zandt LILYHAMMER Interview | Collider

Anyone watch s1? I heard him talking about s3 already being in the cards. Like him...he was good as part of an ensemble, but can he carry a show?
