Yes sad. He was really a great childhood memory for me with The Odd Couple. I loved that show.

Jack Klugman was like Walter Matthau...a STAR who wasn't pretty, and that made him a star. In this day of reality tv and pretty boys his kind is missed. Rest well funnyman.

Klugman was one of those "that guy" type of actors for a while so it's good that he eventually got starring shows on television shows. He was a great actor who was always great to watch either in a small or large role.
"A Passage for Trumpet" is one of my all time favorite in The Twilight Zone. It captures the feeling of loneliness perfectly.

The Odd Couple was one of my favorite shows growing up. It was on four times a day and I knew every line from every episode. RIP.
