    **** ya'all...ROGER MOORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No serious, I grew up with Moore as Bond and even though he is one step above Adam West...I love his Bond flicks. They were all wonderfully over the top, almost too much so, but if you want one that deserves another look, Live and Let Die.

That title doesn't make me think of South Africa.

That was the first Bond movie I saw in a theater. Roger Moore was the greatest humorous Bond.

Then I saw the Sean Connery films. He was and still is the best badass Bond. The whole style has changed since then.

Bond films really do need to focus on the spy stuff again like the old ones. They're not supposed to be action movies. Scenes like the one in The Man With The Golden Gun where they sit and eat together before fighting to the death. In a game of wits I might add. The best parts of Casino Royale were the ones where they're playing cards.
    jerseydevil and Ranma like this.

‘Bond 23′ Screenwriter John Logan Hints at Blofeld Appearance | /Film

WhatCulture! wrote about the possible hint, which Logan dropped at a BAFTA Screenwriters Q&A session:

Rather interestingly, during the talk last night Logan was reminded by an audience member of a quote that he said some ten years ago that, in his opinion, “Bond should always fight Blofeld”. When pressed on this he gave a wry smile and said “Bond should always fight Blofeld”.
Rumors that brilliant but evil SPECTRE head Blofeld would be the villain of Bond 23 have been floating around for quite some time now; at one point, Martin Sheen was said to be in talks for the part. And although Sheen has since stated that reports of his involvement were “absolutely not true,” it’s not all that farfetched to speculate that Blofeld might appear in a some form. Blofeld is arguably the Bond archnemesis, but hasn’t figured in a Bond film since the early ’80s. The timing seems right to reintroduce Blofeld to the franchise, and it sounds like Logan feels pretty strongly about the character.
Seems like a lot to infer from that little sentence, but... we'll see, I guess.

Question: Does the number 23 include or exclude Never Say Never Again?
